Get ready to get FILTHY clean with 5k Foam Fest!
What in the world could possibly be more fun than running through a course chuck full of mud, foam, and obstacles? Running through it with your friends, of course! Check out our video to see how much fun you can have together! Well, you’ll need bodies. So grab your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family members and get them registered! Your team can be as big as you want. And remember, the only way to make sure you all get to run in the same wave is to register early and together, so don’t wait! Otherwise we can’t guarantee that you’ll be flying around in foam with your friends.
If you are looking to beat a world record or run so hard that you nearly lose bowel control then you might be disappointed. The 5K Foam Fest is not a hardcore race it is a FUNCORE race. The goal is to have fun while running. We will have a race clock at the end of the race so you can internally take note how fast you ran the race but you will not be given timing chips and we encourage you to focus on the fun aspect of the race rather than the speed.
It is a festival after all!! So be sure to come early and bring your friends and family. We’ve got several activities including our foam pit, mini inflatable obstacle course, and bounce house. We even have activities for the kids at heart! Like our Skyfall (A 25’ drop onto a airbag/stunt bag)!

5K Foam Fest Canada at SunPeaks.
Just did the 5K Foam fest last weekend with a group of friends and their children. It was the first time doing this for all of us. SOOOOO much fun!!! I cannot wait to do it again next year and bring even more people with me. The staff were super helpful, friendly and loved the motivation they provided to everyone participating. The obstacles were a blast and the whole race seemed to fly by! Thank you to Sun Peaks for hosting this amazing event. Thank you to Foam Fest Canada for coming to our area. Best fun!
Did a mid-day heat and ended up having to wait at least 45 minutes for the lily pads and another half-hour at least for the slide while we were wet and cold. If the long waits didn't happen then it would have been fantastic, but overall still a very fun entry-level event! We had a group of 7 and had a blast. Would only do again if you could get through the course without the long wait times at obstacles! Also, the beer garden closed super early (at 3pm?) so we only had 10 minutes between finishing and getting changed to grab a couple drinks!
Sun Peaks 2016
Had a great time (again) at this race. The race moved much quicker than the previous year. It would be nice to have some burgers and more seats in the beer garden! All in all well done and very organized! Loved getting a towel rather than a T Shirt this year!
Quality Time
5 Girl friends and I along with our 5 children completed the Sun Peaks course for the first time. We were all very impressed with how well organized and planned the event was. The course provided us with an ample but not overwhelming fitness challenge. We were constantly looking ahead to see what fun and exciting obstacle was next which made the 5k fly by. Our children ranged in age from 9-16 years and had no problem with any of the obstacles or the distance making it a fun family event. Staff were helpful and courteous at all times. Very well done. We are looking to increase our team size for next year... we are FOAM CRAZY.

We had a fabulous time at Sun Peaks for the Foam run.
Super fun
Have onlyrics done 2 ocr'so so far and this has been the best one yet. I got muddy and foamy and wet it was great. My mother came with me to do the run and she loved it too, she even wants to do it next year. There was one tiny thing that could be improved though. The cargo net climb only had one voleenter at the front and as more racers came up order went down hill. There was a problem with someone at the top of the cargo climb and no voleenter noticed, I climbed back up and helped the person out. I know this runs in voleenters and it would b nice to see at least 2 on that obstacle. Super fun run and totally coming out next year!!!
Needed some place to warm up after racing, not enough watering stations. some obstacles didn't have anyone spotting in case something happened. we drove 15 hours to attend and it was my first attempt at anything like this and we did have an awesome time!!!!! see ya all in 2017!!! Sun Peaks rocks
Sunpeaks 5 KM Foam FUN
What a well organized event. A huge success in a wonderful location. From the registration to the final foam pit complete with picture..the race was a fun filled success. My only suggestions..a photographer at each obstacle... Thanks Sun Peaks and the 5 KM Foam Fest organizers. GREAT JOB! Glad it's back in sunpeaks next year. :)
Brutal but Fun!
we travelled for 11 hours to race in the foam fest at Sun Peaks, and i'm hooked, we decided we will be back next year for sure!! was a battle for myself, but i will be better prepared next year, and train for it. Hats off to the organizers, it was challenging but it was a blast as well!
We had a blast. It was well organized. We can't wait for next year.
