Get ready to get FILTHY clean with 5k Foam Fest!
What in the world could possibly be more fun than running through a course chuck full of mud, foam, and obstacles? Running through it with your friends, of course! Check out our video to see how much fun you can have together! Well, you’ll need bodies. So grab your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family members and get them registered! Your team can be as big as you want. And remember, the only way to make sure you all get to run in the same wave is to register early and together, so don’t wait! Otherwise we can’t guarantee that you’ll be flying around in foam with your friends.
If you are looking to beat a world record or run so hard that you nearly lose bowel control then you might be disappointed. The 5K Foam Fest is not a hardcore race it is a FUNCORE race. The goal is to have fun while running. We will have a race clock at the end of the race so you can internally take note how fast you ran the race but you will not be given timing chips and we encourage you to focus on the fun aspect of the race rather than the speed.
It is a festival after all!! So be sure to come early and bring your friends and family. We’ve got several activities including our foam pit, mini inflatable obstacle course, and bounce house. We even have activities for the kids at heart! Like our Skyfall (A 25’ drop onto a airbag/stunt bag)!

Sun peaks
Based on the temperature and its elevation, a warming tent with some portable heaters at the hydration stations would have been a welcoming stop. Many of us who couldn't run uphill to stay warm froze on the downhill portions, children and elderly I'm referring to. Also we collected many garbage bags of shoes after the race that were around dumpsters. Perhaps there could be a donation bin since some proceeds already go to habitat for humanity so could the shoes....lots of fun at the race though
Having done and loved the 5K Foam Fest at Silverstar last year our group quickly signed up for this year's event at Sun Peaks. Last year was great, this year was excellent. Previous problems with the registration / check in line up were solved and everything went really smoothly at the start. The location was more spacious so there was a lot more room for gathering at the start. The course (in my opinion - other teammates didn't agree) was steeper but we all liked it a lot more. There was more of a community feeling with people helping and encouraging random strangers who were having difficulties with an obstacle. Overall we all had more fun this year than last year and we are already planning for next year - we're glad it's at Sun Peaks again.

Loved it, bring running shoes with good tread, grass and mud get slippery, loved the towels way better than tshirt can't wait till next year
Such a great time! This was my first obstacle race and I can't wait for more! The race was great and the pre and post parties were even better! See you next year sun peaks!
Great Fun but come prepared
This is a great event for teams of friends, family or coworkers!!
One does not need to be in great shape as it's not a race.... It is all what one makes of it for themselves!! Slow and steady frolicking with your comrades! Or knock yourself out and do it for a time breaker!
One word of advice is come prepared for anything .... including weather after all this is an outdoor event. If you are up the mountain take into consideration the temperature difference at altitude!
BRING a change of clothes, shoes, undergarments too if you are fussy. Also for those marginal asthmatics....bring your puffer!!! A thermos of HOT drink might be an idea depending on weather forecast! Conversely speaking, for heat bring the cold stuff and rehydration aids and sunscreen .. although some is available at the venue afterwards.
SO MUCH FUN! BE Brave! Let's do it again and build a bigger team!

This was amazing! I can't wait for 2017!! Better costumes for our team and gonna stay longer in Kamloops!
The event was so well organized! Lots of fun obstacles! Water stations were set up in the perfect locations and having photographers at each obstacles is awesome! The pictures we got access to after the event were great! Will definitely be doing this again next year!!
Fun for the whole family
The run was so much fun and everyone was so encouraging and kind. I would highly recommend his event to all who are interested.
It was so fun!!!! For my very first fun run, I loved it... It seemed well organized, the pictures and the towels were a nice touch! Will definitely sign up for next year :)
