Get ready to get FILTHY clean with 5k Foam Fest!
What in the world could possibly be more fun than running through a course chuck full of mud, foam, and obstacles? Running through it with your friends, of course! Check out our video to see how much fun you can have together! Well, you’ll need bodies. So grab your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family members and get them registered! Your team can be as big as you want. And remember, the only way to make sure you all get to run in the same wave is to register early and together, so don’t wait! Otherwise we can’t guarantee that you’ll be flying around in foam with your friends.
If you are looking to beat a world record or run so hard that you nearly lose bowel control then you might be disappointed. The 5K Foam Fest is not a hardcore race it is a FUNCORE race. The goal is to have fun while running. We will have a race clock at the end of the race so you can internally take note how fast you ran the race but you will not be given timing chips and we encourage you to focus on the fun aspect of the race rather than the speed.
It is a festival after all!! So be sure to come early and bring your friends and family. We’ve got several activities including our foam pit, mini inflatable obstacle course, and bounce house. We even have activities for the kids at heart! Like our Skyfall (A 25’ drop onto a airbag/stunt bag)!

Filthy fun!!
This was my second 5k. First was the colour run, which was fun.... But did not compare to this at all. I am not a runner. I'm fit enough but I don't do any competitive crazy ass runs like tough mudder or anything. This "funcore" run was so much messy fun! The starting line was pretty disorganized, I'm not sure that it mattered to the organizers that anyone actually started at their "start time". I'm actually not even sure what time we started our run, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't right on time. Bottom line is this: THIS WAS SO MUCH FUN!! There was so much mud and foam and it was just ridiculously fun. Hopefully next year the weather will be a little more on our side!! Signing up ASAP.

Such an amazing experience. perfect for my first run. great family fun.
Loved the run! The only downfall was the long lines for some obstacles. Maybe a longer time between wave times would be able to prevent that, as it was really annoying to be waiting for close to an hour for some obstacles. Overall a really good time. Would recommend this race to anyone!
5K Foam Fest Nanaimo
This was so much fun! This was my very first foam run but it definitely won't be my last. Already making next years team. Some of the line ups were a tad long, but the staff was amazing and set up music so we could dance while waiting!
Can't wait to see every one again next year!!!!
foamy fun
had a fantastic time at the foam race in Nanaimo! some long line ups,, like the lily pads seemed long, but I think it's cuz the weather was cold and cloudy, we would have been fine if it was sunny! Sad that there don't seem to be photos from the death drop slide (favorite) will be back next year with a larger team! thanks!

By far the most fun 5K ever! My 11 yr old daughter and I were completely broken in the end, beautifully broken. Can't wait for next year.
What a fantastic event! I ran this with my 10 year old son and he was so excited about all of the obstacles. We were all smiles from beginning to end! Can't wait to go again next year!
Had a blast, got wet, muddy and cold, but so much fun......can't wait til next year. Hope the long wait for the water obstacles is overcome, other than that the event was faultless!
