After an obstacle race comes through your town it can often be weeks, months, or even a year in some locations before a race comes back to a neighborhood. In between those times, you can get your fix of the OCR world through television shows but when those seasons are over there is another way to keep the OCR fire alive within you, podcasts. Over the years more and more obstacle racing podcasts and those closely related to the industry have popped up.
There was a lot going on in the world of endurance. In The Cooldown Episode 8, we focus on the endurance world following Western States 100-mile ultra marathon over the weekend as well as a crazy adventure race and how to add intervals into your training.
The Cooldown episode 6 brings you tips, tricks, and news from the obstacle racing world as well as the greater endurance community. Scott Jones is the host each week hitting on timely topics to enrich your training and life. This week he tackles a series of questions starting with "What is the opposite of play?"
The Cooldown:04 is all about endurance and OCR from the people involved on both sides. Each week we bring you news and stories from around the obstacle racing world and beyond. This week we bring you behind the scenes at a Colorado event that bonded friendly foes on the trail. Then jump into a case for unplugging from technology after a recent conversation. We congratulate a race director for bringing back a unique event in Arizona. Finally, we bring you tips to help improve your downhill running after a skinned knee bloody weekend on the trails.
