We've made it through another week and it's almost time to hit the course again!

Before you line up to start your races, let's check in the with OCR community.

First, we have Sandra V., who hit the course at Spartan Fort Carson last weekend for one of Spartan's Honor Series races. She tackled the Sprint, the Super, AND a trail race all in one weekend despite record heat. Way to go Sandra!

Next, we have Joey McGlamory, who is using his Instagram presence to draw attention to a worthy cause. Each Wednesday, Joey does push-ups in honor of the veterans we have lost to suicide and others who deal with PTSD every day. Let's all join him next week.

WARRIOR WEDNESDAY NEVER FORGET NEVER FORGOTTEN While the latest studies show the numbers of vet related suicides may not be exactly 22 the fact that 1 vet suicide is still 1 TOO MANY. Those stats along with the number of civilians who take their own lives make this number reach a staggering 128 + a day! That is very very sad. I have made it my mission to continue to do my pushups in honor of those who’ve taken their lives. So today I do 30 pushups, as I do “every” WARRIOR WEDNESDAY, to bring awareness of the tragic fact that 22+ vets a day along with 106+ civilians a day commit suicide due to the effects brought on by the effects of PTSD. Please join me and let's all do our part to show our support for our returning troops and others who need our help!! Our vets and friends deserve better… they deserve more.. We owe them the best we can give them… Cause even 1 is 1TOOMANY!! TOGETHER WE WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!! ♥️♥️♥️ Anyone battling depression, PTSD, or a life altering disease or injury is a WARRIOR because they are fighting for their life! Civilians and Veterans need each other to stand side by side and fight the good fight for life! If you or someone you love is contemplating hurting themselves please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline 1-800-273-TALK (8255), veterens press 1.. Order a MHTS wristband with the suicide prevention lifeline number inside at http://www.moreheartthanscars.org
