Run Amuck, the Marine Corps Marathon's messiest mud, and obstacle event offer runners arduous obstacles and plenty of mud along a four-mile course on Saturday, June 10, 2017, starting at Butler Stadium. We sat down and found out more about this fun mud run.
CBS and Tough Mudder introduce the latest addition to the Tough Mudder brand today with Tough Mudder X. Tough Mudder X is announced on the heels of Tough Mudder jumping into the gym arena. The 1-mile Tough Mudder X course builds on that momentum offering a 1-mile course that includes 10 obstacles and 10 "workout zones".

Most sports have a set standard and yet many are stumped when it comes to race day wear for obstacle races and mud runs. For nearly a decade, I have written on this subject.
The dog has long been referred to as a mans best friend. Many trail and some road runners would take that saying one step further stating a dog is a man (or woman's) best training partner. For years there have been a handful of road and some trail races that allow you and your favorite K9 companion to run and race side-by-side but until recently heading off to your favorite OCR the dog had to stay home.
The Mud Movement was at Spartan Race Super in Austin, Texas over the weekend. The team behind The Mud Movement put together this video showcasing the highlights from the race weekend including Amelia Boone's return to racing after a year of injury.
Over the weekend Ian Panter, a longtime member of the World's Toughest Mudder community, was riding in the passenger seat after the Tough Mudder over the weekend when the car was struck and Panter severely injured. Since that time the obstacle racing community is coming to the aid of Panter and his family.
A fan favorite is back this summer from Inov-8. The popular Trailroc series comes back this summer with an upgrade. The Trailroc's were a fan favorite among many obstacle racers for years. When Inov-8 discontinued them a few years ago many flocked to the stores and stocked up. But fear no more that favorite is back!
Toughest Mudder the 8-hour Tough Mudder event took place over the weekend outside of Philadelphia as the series made it's Northeast stop. The race began at midnight and after 8:00 am finishers began to cross the line. Many favorites from the World's Toughest Mudder community came out to the event in the hopes to gain contender status (25 miles) for World's Toughest Mudder.
