Endure The Gauntlet- 48 hours of OCR

I don’t think there is an athlete who toes the start line of an Obstacle Course Race (OCR) that is not there to find their limits. Badass Women of OCR – Jessika Poppe

In life, often we feel that things should go in one direction, but a life event opens our eyes and leads us along a new path.  In Jessika Poppe's case, this was very true. Initially, she wanted to be a nurse, but after the loss of her Grandparents she realized instead of treating the sick, she wanted to help people live healthy and happy lives.

Women’s Video Highlights – Spartan U.S. National Series – San Jose

Spartan kicked off the U.S. National Series this weekend with some intense action in San Jose. In the men's race, it was Rea Kolbl who took the first win of the series. Faye Stenning found her way into second place and Myriam Guillot-Boisset finished in third place.

Woods and Kolbl Take First at Spartan U.S. National Series in San Jose

Spartan kicked off their U.S. National Series over the weekend in San Jose. Many of the top athletes from around the obstacle racing community toed the line for the first stop on this year's tour. Top finishers for the weekend were Ryan Woods and Rea Kolbl.

Race Recap: Spartan Greek Peak Winter Sprint 2018

Spartan held its second annual Winter Sprint at Greek Peak ski resort in central New York.  The event took place Saturday with the Elites taking the snow at 9 am.  The crowds overall for the day seemed smaller than a typical Spartan race.

Community Members of the Week: March 17 – 23

The co-founders of Mud Run Guide, Brett and Chris, spent last weekend in Bermuda hanging out with many members of the Spartan 4-0 group and a host of international racers. Many here in the United States continued to brave the elements getting out there training and racing in some crazy conditions.
