She has faced times of self-doubt in her past, but has risen from the ashes to prove that you need to love yourself and be true to who you are. In this world, we have too much negativity and self-loathing and Laura strives every day to be the best person she can be, and through this inspires others.

For Those Who Would announced in December the creation of a Healthcare Grant for the new year. The application period for the grant has been extended until January 7th for submissions. The $1,500 grant is made possible to help ease the burden of healthcare costs for one individual in need.

Mud Run Guide held the third annual Best of OCR Awards this fall. The process began with a nomination period in which OCR enthusiasts nominated their favorites in twenty-four unique categories. From a list of over 9,500 nominations, the team at MRG worked to pair down the list to the finalist and opened voting. With over 65,000 votes from over 6,100 individuals, the winners were chosen.

For many of us in obstacle racing, one of the functions of the offseason is to do just that: identify weaknesses and create plans for how to address them! That sounds a lot like a resolution.

I first heard about Andi Hardy through an OCR podcast and her story hit a chordwith me. Often when people think of OCR they think that your age or ability can hold you back. In Andi’s case, that is totally wrong. Not only did she accomplish great things during her very first OCR races, but she has continued to make huge strides and show the world it isn’t about a number but about who you are as a person.
