Get ready to get FILTHY clean with 5k Foam Fest!
What in the world could possibly be more fun than running through a course chuck full of mud, foam, and obstacles? Running through it with your friends, of course! Check out our video to see how much fun you can have together! Well, you’ll need bodies. So grab your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family members and get them registered! Your team can be as big as you want. And remember, the only way to make sure you all get to run in the same wave is to register early and together, so don’t wait! Otherwise we can’t guarantee that you’ll be flying around in foam with your friends.
If you are looking to beat a world record or run so hard that you nearly lose bowel control then you might be disappointed. The 5K Foam Fest is not a hardcore race it is a FUNCORE race. The goal is to have fun while running. We will have a race clock at the end of the race so you can internally take note how fast you ran the race but you will not be given timing chips and we encourage you to focus on the fun aspect of the race rather than the speed.
It is a festival after all!! So be sure to come early and bring your friends and family. We’ve got several activities including our foam pit, mini inflatable obstacle course, and bounce house. We even have activities for the kids at heart! Like our Skyfall (A 25’ drop onto a airbag/stunt bag)!

5K Foam Fest 2015
Hi,
As a first timer, we went as a family and the excitement that built up to this event was part one of the group experience. Part 2 was how our group came together to find matching outfits and made an art project out of it! That was fun too. Part 3 was the excitement of the event itself! We had never done anything like this before and the process of registration went smoothly and quickly. We were directed where to go next and it added to such a great experience. I absolutely would love to attend next year as a group again and would recommend this Foam Fest to anyone who asks. I look forward to winning a discount to this awesome event, congrats to your team and the organizing team!!!
Would be good family fun
Event was well run. I personally still think registration should be increased so as to include free photos from that day. Aside from that, it was a fun course but would definitely bring my older child next time as she would have had a blast! I know people were complaining about being temporarily pulled off course due to weather but we made our own fun while waiting. Life is too short to stress about things beyond your control.

The location was amazing! Buses were fast and friendly. Love love loved all the kid activitys!!! Loved it! Run was fun over all.
We had an amazing day. It was a great way to be active and athletic with my 4 teenagers and 2 of their friends. Well run and organized it was a fun day! I do a lot of adventure / obstacle races but frequently can't include the kids... Great family day out that I recommend to many!!!!!
We will be back next year!
Adrenaline Rush
My friends convinced me to join them in this event. I had never done anything like it before but decided to take a leap of faith and do it. At the actual event asked myself on several occasions what had possessed me to do this as some of the obstacles were quite intimidating for me. It was a beautiful day and felt great to be outdoors but the best thing i can say is that at the end of the race I felt such an adrenaline rush! 20 years younger and full of confidence! Loved the experience and would happily do it again! This should be on everyone's bucket list!
We had an amazing time. I have run a lot in my life and this was one of the best. I had my wife and three other friends run it with me. None of them are runners. They loved it and it was enough of a challenge to keep me interested. My wife who hates running is already talking about getting more friends to run it this year. I think we might even do a theme for our outfits this time.
4 of us girls from age group 32-43 did this at Silver Star last summer. This was the funnest and a little bit challenging experience we have all four had! The courses were extremely fun and funny to watch and the obstacles were creative. If we wanted to take our time, we did or if we wanted to push ourselves, we also did that! So much fun and will definitely do again every year:)
We had so much fun! Was a great day and would love to do this every year!

What an AWESOME day with a fractured shoulder and a good memory of a friend!
I'm part of a meet up group in the Durham Region and I had 20 friends from my group sign up with me! Some of them brought their kids and I even had my mom who was visiting from New Brunswick do it with us!
I unfortunately broke my shoulder 1 month before the race and was sooo bummed out but my group convinced me to come walk the course with them so I can join in their fun. As I watched and took pictures of my group throughout the course, I was still smiling from ear to ear seeing how much they were enjoying themselves. They covered me in bubbles and mud. You would think by the end of the course I had done all the obstacles! So grateful for my friends for making this a great day. One of my friends who was battling cancer could not do the course as she was not well that day but she did cross the finish line with me to receive her medal. She was a finisher in my eyes as she crossed the finish line smiling. Unfortunately, she passed away 3 days ago after a 6 year battle with cancer. This year’s Foam Fest will be dedicated to her! Love you Josie!
