Get ready to get FILTHY clean with 5k Foam Fest!
What in the world could possibly be more fun than running through a course chuck full of mud, foam, and obstacles? Running through it with your friends, of course! Check out our video to see how much fun you can have together! Well, you’ll need bodies. So grab your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family members and get them registered! Your team can be as big as you want. And remember, the only way to make sure you all get to run in the same wave is to register early and together, so don’t wait! Otherwise we can’t guarantee that you’ll be flying around in foam with your friends.
If you are looking to beat a world record or run so hard that you nearly lose bowel control then you might be disappointed. The 5K Foam Fest is not a hardcore race it is a FUNCORE race. The goal is to have fun while running. We will have a race clock at the end of the race so you can internally take note how fast you ran the race but you will not be given timing chips and we encourage you to focus on the fun aspect of the race rather than the speed.
It is a festival after all!! So be sure to come early and bring your friends and family. We’ve got several activities including our foam pit, mini inflatable obstacle course, and bounce house. We even have activities for the kids at heart! Like our Skyfall (A 25’ drop onto a airbag/stunt bag)!

Both my sister, a friend and myself participate in this as our first 5km obstacle race and loved it. We laughed from beginning to end. There was only a few spots where we had to stop and wait for people, but otherwise a great event
Very fun with great obstacles. Line ups at a couple of obstacles were pretty long but overall a great 5K obstacle run.
My favourite 5k
I went into this race not expecting a whole lot, since I did Mudderella the year before in Whistler and it was a disaster and assumed this would be similar. However, I was quickly proven wrong. Everything was very organized and the staff and volunteers were so cheery and pleasant to be around. The obstacles were fun and I loved every moment of it. This will for sure be an annual event for my girlfriends and I !
I had a fantastic time at foam fest. I love obstacles but I'm not a runner and this was a perfect first race for me. I had so much fun! I can't wait to do it again next year. The friend that did it with me is in too, and we're trying to get a team together and have a whole bunch of people running it together.
Fun in the mudd
For my first race. It was so much fun. It has empowered me to try it again next year and try other races too. Great fun for a group of friends.
Muddy fun!
This was my first ever 5K race and it was so fun! The obstacles were nicely spaced out and with different levels of challenge. It was a rainy day but that just added to the muddy fun. I enjoyed that my family could come and watch and cheer us on in different spots. There were many line ups at the obstacles but I think it was just the time that we went. The slide at the end was the best! Everyone that I was running with was looking forward to it the whole run.
This was my first year that me and my friends attending and we had an absolute blast! I cant wait until next year. I will be bringing my kids this year too!
This was my first lifetime race and I had such a blast! Went with 2 girlfriends and we laughed all the way. We've all already registered for next year and I'll be bringing my 9 year old that time.
Wow!!!!
I took my 8 year old to Winnipeg for Foam Fest! He and I had a blast running the course with family and friends. Wasn't sure how he would do but now his older brother and younger sister want to do the run in 2017. We can't wait! Might have to force dad to run as well.
Thank you all so much for organizing this! We all need to just let loose and have a fun race! I am a long distance runner, so this race was really great to just have fun and I highly recommend this to everyone!
