She founded DirtinYourSkirt.com, an OCR community for women as well as former contributing editor for Mud and Obstacle Magazine and industry expert for About.com. Adam Kimble’s Run Across USA – Day 2

Day 2 started out rough, but ended well! Adam went from Riverside, CA, to Cabazon, CA. He is dealing with tendinitis behind his knee, which cropped up late on Day 1 and was screaming after a steady climb at the start of Day 2. He completed 45 miles, 15 shy of the 60 planned for the day. He walked miles 3-38 and applied Kool 'N Fit pain relieving liquid at every pit stop to give his tendon the best chance of recovery and it appears to have paid off: Adam was able to run the final 7 miles on the day!

Goliathon Delivers the Charity:Water

Goliathlon is a non-profit semi-permanent obstacle race outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The race is known for their unique course design and tiered obstacles for all OCR enthusiasts to enjoy. Last year, Mud Run Guide checked out this unique race and wrote this article: Goliathon: The Race That Gives Back. The core team behind Goliathon take no salaries and all work as volunteers.

Spartan Race Agoge 001 took place over the weekend in Pittsfield, Vermont. The 48-hour extreme endurance event is put on by Spartan Race and part of the Training Trifecta for the Spartan Delta for 2016. The event is part endurance challenge and part educational workshop in survival skills. The winter edition of the race this year focused on two of the SpartanX Pillars of "Finding Your True North" and "Commitment".

The 2016 Winter Spartan Race Agoge 001 is complete. Of the thirty-three participants that began the challenge twenty-eight finished. Agoge is an extreme endurance challenge focused on conquering real world survival skills while focusing on several of the SpartanX pillars.
