Burpees and Bear Crawls With Spartan Race CEO & Founder Joe De Sena

On Wednesday, November 8th, 2017, I attended the Get Fit Toledo: Spartan Community Workout in Toledo, Ohio. It was here that Spartan Race CEO and founder Joe De Sena challenged over 70 men and women to abandon their Wednesday night routine of watching reruns on their couch, and to instead, come together, get sweaty and "Spartan Up"!

Spartan Race Announces U.S. Championship Dates and Locations

Spartan Race announced the dates and locations of the Spartan Race U.S. Championship series recently. Obstacle racings best will compete in 2018 at the five-event race series on the road to the Spartan Race World Championships. This year over $100,000 in cash and prizes are up for grabs. The 2018 U.S. Championship series will feature some familiar locations as well a few new stops including Utah featuring a mixture of Super and Beast distance races.

Race Recap: Houston Tough Mudder 2017 – Creekside Offroad

Another Mudder down, and I can honestly it was the best Tough Mudder event I have been to so far. While the Mudder Village may have been smaller than usual, every other aspect of the race is exactly what I would expect from an OCR.  The course itself was the best course I’ve run, and the spectator course as well was very efficiently done.

Badass Women of OCR – Rea Kolbl

After her inspiring and emotional finish as the women's winner of Worlds Toughest Mudder (with 90 miles completed), Rea Kolbl has capped off her exciting OCR season. She has only been in the sport for the past 1.5 years, but has shown the with hard work, motivation and being active, you can accomplish anything you put your mind to.
