Get ready to get FILTHY clean with 5k Foam Fest!
What in the world could possibly be more fun than running through a course chuck full of mud, foam, and obstacles? Running through it with your friends, of course! Check out our video to see how much fun you can have together! Well, you’ll need bodies. So grab your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family members and get them registered! Your team can be as big as you want. And remember, the only way to make sure you all get to run in the same wave is to register early and together, so don’t wait! Otherwise we can’t guarantee that you’ll be flying around in foam with your friends.
If you are looking to beat a world record or run so hard that you nearly lose bowel control then you might be disappointed. The 5K Foam Fest is not a hardcore race it is a FUNCORE race. The goal is to have fun while running. We will have a race clock at the end of the race so you can internally take note how fast you ran the race but you will not be given timing chips and we encourage you to focus on the fun aspect of the race rather than the speed.
It is a festival after all!! So be sure to come early and bring your friends and family. We’ve got several activities including our foam pit, mini inflatable obstacle course, and bounce house. We even have activities for the kids at heart! Like our Skyfall (A 25’ drop onto a airbag/stunt bag)!

retirement challenge
I had just turned 65 and I needed a new challenge during my retirement. What a challenge it was. I ran with my daughter and grandkids, and beat the kids in one of the challenges. And homesrly, I think I was the oldest person in our group that took off at 10:15. I am ready to start over again in 2016!
AMAZING!!!!! My husband and I and our 2 kids participated with some friends in last years Foam Fest!! Just had the best time! It was so beyond organized and overall just GREAT! Kids thought getting filthy was a blast! Would love to do it again!
Foam fest 2015 saskatoon
My cousin had invited My fiance and I to go to the foam fest in Saskatoon for 2015! Never done anything like that before. Was my first 5k run ever and was the best decision ever decidIng to try it out. Had so much fun and loved all the obstacles and foam and slide. Even after the run we went to try the jump off the plank into a ballooned cushion! Was a perfect day as well. Everyone was so happy and was enjoying themselves. Already can't wait for the run next year for 2016. Can't wait to see what obstacles are going on for next year! Being in that run also got me wanting to join in a lot More marathon/runs. Thank you all for the great experience. ☺️ be lots more memories!
This has been the only run where our group of 15 genuinely enjoye ourselves. From hopping hay bales to slithering through or crawling through the sloppy mud; to facing our fear of heights on the tallest inflatable slide; to becoming mud and foam monsters, this has us all plus our kid and more coming back for 2016. I love the family friendly evnironment, and the creativeness of the group costumes/clothes that everyone wears. Everyone is there for a great time and and that is exactly what you get. Memories are made at Foam Fest!
This was my first organized run ever and boy was it ever amazing! Well organized, entertaining and most of all the staff was so helpful and encouraging it was unbelievable! The foam was just enough, not too much, and the obstacles were loads of fun! This run is challenging yet easy enough for a beginner like me. Will be participating this year and bringing along all my friends!
I attended this event with my friend and her daughter and we had the best time. The obstacles were fun, the atmosphere was lively and exciting. Soooo much fun can't wait until next year :)
A blast for my first mud run!!

Awesome race, many fun obstacles! A little cold at Silver Star Resort at that time of year but everyone was all smiles! Definitely doing Sun Peaks 2016!
I have done foam fest the past two years here in Ottawa! Both experiences have been beyond wonderful. The volunteers were amazing, and the event was well organized! 100% going to go back for my 3rd time in 2016!!
