The 1-mile Tough Mudder X course builds on that momentum offering a 1-mile course that includes 10 obstacles and 10 "workout zones".
Over the weekend Ian Panter, a longtime member of the World's Toughest Mudder community, was riding in the passenger seat after the Tough Mudder over the weekend when the car was struck and Panter severely injured. The obstacle racing world has been greatly anticipating the arrival of the first United States Obstacle Course Racing Championships (USOCRC) since the announcement of the event on January 17, 2017. Hosted by Adventurey LLC, organizers of the independent Obstacle Course Racing World Championships, the event is scheduled to be held on Labor Day weekend, September 2 & 3, at Y.O. Ranch Headquarters, in Mountain Home, Texas.

The Italian OCR Championship series, their national championship series kicked off on May 6th in Pisa at Inferno Run. The Italian OCR Championship Series is a circuit sanctioned by the Italian OCR Federation, the national governing body for the sport of OCR in Italy and part of the newly created European Obstacle Sports Federation (EOSF). Inferno Run in Pisa was the first stop on the series.
