Recently, the European Obstacle Sports Federation was formed in Sardinia bringing together many of the National Governing Bodies in Europe to create a unified vision of OCR for Europe. The EOSF has taken it one step further with the election of their board of directors and committees within the organization. This continental Governing Body represents many factions within Europe.
BROCR Media was in attendance at the inaugural USAOCR Championship in Hialeah, FL covering the event for Mud Run Guide. Personally, I felt privileged to not only attend this historic event but also compete for a spot on Team USA.
Warrior Dash announced today that the popular OCR series will return to Missouri. The return is set for September 30. Warrior Dash hinted to Mud Run Guide that they would be releasing additional venues for the season and this appears to be the first addition.
For the team at Colorado Obstacle Racers; the night of February 24th, 2017 changed their world. Three of their team; Kym Butcher, Elizabeth Rotter and Corrina Vaden had made the last second decision to head to Arizona for the Spartan Race weekend. Corrina was driving while Kym and Elizabeth had been stretched out in the back seat.

The brand will be exclusively available at online and in-store at DICK'S Sporting Goods. Additionally, Hunter McIntyre and Corinna Coffin have signed on as an athlete with Second Skin to promote this new line of gear.
This weekend Spartan Race kicks off their U.S. Championship series outside of Seattle, Washington. The U.S. Championship Series is part of the road to the Reebok Spartan Race World Championships in Lake Tahoe, California this fall. This year in addition to filmed for NBC Sports, Spartan Race will be hosting live coverage of the event on their Facebook, YouTube, and Spartan.com website during the race Saturday.

Yesterday afternoon Hobie Call announced on the Spartan Race Facebook Page live that he joined the Spartan Race Pro-Team for 2017. In the announcement, he stated this will be his last year of competitive racing and plans to win all the NBC Spartan Races this year. He sat down with Mud Run Guide to give his first public interview since the announcement yesterday.
