OCR 101: How to Clean up After an Obstacle Race or Mud Run

Finishing a race comes with a huge feeling of success and accomplishment, but then it comes to cleaning off the mud after the race it can be tricky. Often a long car ride or flight awaits your post race celebration. Getting clean after the race is not always straightforward. Most of the major race series such as Spartan Race, Tough Mudder, and Warrior Dash offer hoses, showers and changing tents for participants.

Race Recap – XX Race iMETTLE and Performance Assessment Intro

I turned our other bud Ed onto the iMETTLE gym in King of Prussia, PA. I’ve been training Ed on and off since he did the Citizen’s Bank Park Stadium Sprint last year. He’s hooked. He was an easy catch. He’s part of the reason why we thought Steve would be easy too. Steve lives really close to iMETTLE.

Badass Women of OCR: Nikki Call

I was very intrigued when I heard that Nikki Call had achieved two podium spots at BattleFrog last year with two broken arms. At first, I was honestly surprised that someone could push through that much pain and still podium. After chatting with Nikki online and doing this interview with her, I realized that the story of how she both broke arms isn’t what I wanted to tell, but the story of a stay at home mom who strives to be the best she can.

OCRTUBE: OCR EC 2017

Arnel Banawa of OCRTUBE recently headed over to Germany for the OCR EC (European Championships) over the weekend. He captured all the action from the muddy and hilly course which featured over fifty obstacles. The 17-kilometer course offered challenging obstacles and terrain.
