DICK’S Sporting Goods Launches New Compression Brand Second Skin

DICK'S Sporting Goods is getting into the obstacle racing game with new compression brand Second Skin. Second Skin is designed for high-intensity athletes including obstacle course racer. The brand will be exclusively available at online and in-store at DICK'S Sporting Goods. Additionally, Hunter McIntyre and Corinna Coffin have signed on as an athlete with Second Skin to promote this new line of gear.

Race Recap: Toughest Amsterdam

The Scandanavian obstacle race series, Toughest, recently headed to The Netherlands for the first time over the weekend. The popular series is known for challenging and fun obstacles and continues to bring top athletes to each event. The race crammed 40 obstacles in a short 8 km course near the capital Amsterdam.

Spartan Race Kicks Off U.S. Championship Series with Live Streaming Race Day

This weekend Spartan Race kicks off their U.S. Championship series outside of Seattle, Washington. The U.S. Championship Series is part of the road to the Reebok Spartan Race World Championships in Lake Tahoe, California this fall. This year in addition to filmed for NBC Sports, Spartan Race will be hosting live coverage of the event on their Facebook, YouTube, and Spartan.com website during the race Saturday.

Badass Women of OCR: Cynthia Campanaro

Cynthia has had quite the interesting career within the OCR community. She started her journey in 2012 and has since tackled many OCR and running events, letting no perceived fears get in her way. Initially, as I started to learn more about her, I was intrigued. Not only is she a mom, but she was able to in 2014 at the Spartan Sprint in Toronto chase down Helene Dumais (and we all know that is a feat within itself).

Dragon Obstacle Course Race (OCR) is making its debut in Holly Springs, North Carolina in May. The new obstacle race is developed and designed by Charles Bailey, a longtime obstacle racing enthusiast. Bailey takes years of race experience in creating Dragon OCR.
