Spartan Ultimate Team Challenge The highly anticipated NBC competition series "Spartan Ultimate Team Challenge" officially has an airdate. Be sure to set your DVR's for June 13 at 10pm eastern daylight time. The obstacle racing team competition show based on the Spartan Race Series will follow up the popular "American Ninja Warrior" on June 13 and 20 then shift to a Thursday 9:00pm spot.

Spartan Rule Changes: Say Goodbye to the Bell Kick

Early this morning athletes around the United States got an email from Spartan Race's Robert Coble that would change the game forever for many athletes. The email received indicated that athletes would be no longer allowed to kick bells on obstacles like rope climbs, multi-rigs and more. The email which is currently reverberating around the obstacle racing industry is marking an end of an era. Coble's email stated this morning.

Adam Kimble Run Across USA: Day 33 – 43

Adam still progressed by getting in 29 miles from 5 am to 8:30 pm. He was experiencing a lot of pain in his right shin and right hip. He’s amazing to persevere through all of the pain. Progress is progress! One of the best parts of the day was having two puppies follow Adam for 3 miles and keep him company. The crew would have loved to keep the pups as our trans-con mascots, but we reunited the puppies with their family. Onto Day 44 in Louisiana!

Race Spotlight: BoldrDash

BoldrDash is known as one of the great local race series in the northeastern United States. Lynn Hall the series founder and race director said BoldrDash, the Bold stands for Boldly Overcoming Limitations with Determination, first came up with the idea for her race series in the back of her car after taking about 50 people for the first Spartan Race in Amesbury in 2010. She took that idea and ran with it, holding the first BoldrDash in Rhode Island at Yawgoo Valley Ski Area in Exeter on August 13, 2011. Since that time the series has grown to be a staple race in the northeast. Lynn Hall took the time to answer some questions to get to know BoldrDash better.

There’s a new vision to this mission and you could tell today. Adam was in high spirits as a man with a new plan and new goals. Team morale is high, too. We continually try to be creative at pit stops. Today, we turned to the game two truths and a lie to stump each other. We’ve gotten to know each other pretty well being together 24/7. Adam dominated 50 miles for the third day in a row and has 1,212 to go! Starting to visualize the Atlantic Ocean from Texas! Onto Day 33!

Tomorrow the filming of the second season of the ESPN BattleFrog College Championships and the Legends Championship begins in Lanier Islands, Georgia. Athletes from around top colleges in the United States, as well as top athletes from around the world, have already converged on this scenic venue. The ESPN production is a partnership between production company 51 Dons and BattleFrog Series. Over the next four days, taping of the show will commence along Lake Lanier.

Civilian Military Combine is Back! Race Announces 2016 Series

Civilian Military Combine has been a fan a favorite since it began in 2011. Recently, the organization went through a revamp and is re-launching in September 2016. CMC is the original hybrid OCR, the event features both a functional fitness workout and an obstacle course. Participants are scored in each and their results are the combination of the two events. The relaunch will take place at the historic Fort. Hamilton in Brooklyn, New York.
