Today started with a press conference and media course walkthrough, finishing the day with the annual S-A-W-C-K party at Camp Rhino put on by Matty Gregg and benefiting Saint Baldricks. 2016 World's Toughest Mudder kicked off today with a press conference at Lake Las Vegas, Nevada less than a mile away from this year's race. The press conference was anchored by the three-time World's Toughest Mudder Champion Amelia Boone. The panel featured CBS Sports Producers, elite athletes, Team Rubicon representatives, and other Tough Mudder Officials.
Today, Tough Mudder revealed new obstacles for the 2017 season. Some of which will show up this weekend at World's Toughest Mudder. The new obstacles include Augustus Gloop, The Reach Around, Artic Enema - The Rebirth, and Funky Monkey. The new obstacles also Legionnaire exclusives - Kong, Snot Rocket, Stage 5 Clinger, and Black Hole.
