The 4-mile course will take participants through Colt State Park with 20 obstacles adding to the challenge. The start, finish, and event epicenter will be positioned at the beautiful Bristol Town Beach for finishers to enjoy a New England Style Lobster & Steak clam boil.
The Trident Race will have many classic obstacles such as rope climbs, log jumps, weighted pulls, but it will also have a few creatively designed New England themed obstacles, such as Poseidon’s Rogue Wave and heavy Anchor drags. The course will run through the entire Colt State Park, through open fields, trails, and the beach.
There will be paramedics at the race in case of injuries. The first aid tent will be clearly marked and situated near the finish line.
We provide water at one station halfway through the course and again at the finish line.
Cash and prizes to the top 3 male and female finishers in the 8AM Elite wave.
Spectators may come to watch for no cost.
There will be parking at Colt State Park.
The Lobster & Steak Clam Boil will start at approximately 11:30am and goes until 3pm or until we sell out. You will receive a 1.25 lb lobster, 5 oz steak, steamer & little necks, and traditional accompaniments. It is highly recommended you purchase your ticket ahead of time. Race day price is $36.
Partial proceeds to benefit the Bristol Parks and Recreation Department with a special donation to the Wounded Warrior Project.
The Trident Race allows those who are 16 or older to run at the event with a chaperone. Anyone who is not 16 or older at the time of the event date cannot participate, but a 15-year old participant can sign up prior to turning 16, as long as they are 16 on event day.
You are welcome to don any kind of footwear you want. However, you assume the risk of any injuries that result from your decision to do so. RKNR Media does not guarantee that the course will be free of sharp objects, including rocks, splinters, pinecones, glass, nails, knives, swords, chainsaws or anything else whatsoever.
You can run individually or as part of a team, but we don’t award team prizes.
