Race Start Time:
Open Competitive waves at 8:00am, 8:15am, 8:30am and 8:45am
Team Competition waves at 9:15am, 9:30am, 9:45am and 10:00am
Non-Competitive waves begin at 10:30am
75 people per wave, every 15 minutes
Team competition consists of 4 person teams which must all finish together

Course Description:
5k run over mixed terrain, including grass, trails, woods, creeks, asphalt, a mixture of hills which all ends with our military style police training obstacle course including 19 various obstacles. Rock walls, attic climb, A-Frame, balance beam, cargo net, monkey bars, rope climb, wall climb, mud pit, rope traverse, belly crawl, pipe crawl, slide. Some are easy, some are difficult.
Aid Stations:
2 water stations on the course. Paramedics on site and ready. Plenty of fruit and water at the finish line.
Awards:
Age group awards for 5 yr. age groups male/female - 1st, 2nd, 3rd Team awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Male Teams, Female Teams, Co-Ed Teams and Public Safety Teams
Prizes:
Chase down and capture an ""escaped inmate"" to win prizes!
Spectators:
Spectators are free, there is an open area around the obstacle course for spectator viewing, after party area is free.
Parking:
Free parking for everyone, plenty of parking.
Post Party:
Post party with D.J., awards ceremony and vendors
Other:
This event is hosted by the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office. This is the one day a year that we open our military style police training obstacle course to the public. All proceeds from this event benefit our teen mentoring programs at the Sheriff's Office. The minimum age to register is 14. All competitive and team competitive waves are chip timed. No swimming is required, but you will get wet. We do have free gear check. We have water hoses to wash off and large tents set up for changing areas.
Team:
The Team Competition segment is a timed competitive division for 4 person teams competing for awards. All 4 team members must cross the finish line together! No man/woman left behind! We award trophies to the top 3 teams in each category = Male Teams, Female Teams, Co-Ed Teams and Public Safety Teams.
