A post-apocalyptic, Zombie Fun Mud Fun, Special Z Games was created to bring awareness to (and vent frustration at) a school system that drags children with special needs, tripping them up on their way to success.

Course Description:

Runners will have to get down and dirty to make it to the finish line, encountering 12 obstacles along the way. But one obstacle is alive (dead?!?): zombies roaming the course creating the post-apocalyptic zombie atmosphere.

Aid Stations:

There are water stations all throughout the course. Water will be provided free of charge. Medical assistance will be available throughout the entire 5K and at the spectator areas.

Spectators:

Family and friends are encouraged to come and cheer their Zombie or Zombie Killer on free of charge!

Parking:

Parking will be onsite at the Santa Clara Fairgrounds. The parking fee is $8 for one-time event parking at the Santa Clara Fairgrounds. This fee is directly charged by the parking vendor, not Special Z Games.
Parking for people who need a shorter distance to walk and own a handicap parking pass will be able to park on the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds campus. Just ask the person guiding the traffic for parking and present your blue handicap parking card.

Post Party:

Rock bands of children and adults will play to celebrate everyone’s accomplishment for the day!
