Waves will consist of 5 challengers each with 13-17 in a grouping separate from the 18+ challengers.
Relay teams of 5 will run in separate waves.

Super Hero for SAFE Can you run faster than a speeding bullet and leap tall buildings in a single bound? Prove it on April 30, 2016 in Sweet Home, Oregon when you will be challenged to run up the side of a mountain, navigate over 12+ obstacles and make it through a water hazard so you can truly be called a Super Hero. Challengers must be a minimum of 13 years to compete in in the 13-17 year waves. No maximum age on the 18+ years. Team discounts are available.

Course Description:

The 1 mile challenge will start at the Weddle covered bridge in Sankey Park with a trail run along Ames Creek up a trail to Upper Sankey Park, thru the BMX track, down the side of hill to a rope swing, run across the covered bridge to the High school activity field where 12+ obstacles will be laid out such as climbing over consecutive high hurdles, crawling under a netting, jumping over/crawling under barricades, winding through corrals, going through 20' culverts, balance beams, tire flips, ""A"" frame climbers, stutter-step tires, to crossing back thru Ames Creek to finish at the start.

Aid Stations:

1 aid stations will be on the course with Sweet Home Fire & Ambulance EMTs onsite

Spectators:

Spectators are encouraged and will have free entry.

Parking:

Lots of parking will be available within walking distance at the Evangelical church, City Hall parking lot and High School parking lot next to the activity field.

Post Party:

There will be a live local rock band performing at the Sankey Park grandstands during the event providing inspirational Super Hero music.

Other:

Children under the age of 13 are not allowed to compete in the trail run/obstacle course but are encouraged to wear their favorite Super Hero costume to the event to receive a Super Hero award.
All challengers are encouraged to come as their favorite Super Hero.

Team:

Challengers can sign up as a team and are encouraged to dress as their favorite Super Hero group. Those who want to be part of a 5 member relay team will need to let us know at the event.
