Xtreme Obstacle Challenge obstacle races, mud run, and OCR information, distance, cost, dates, calendar, discounts, obstacles, reviews, and more
We keep the running to a 5k course because you’ll need all your energy and speed to negotiate our playground. Over, under, through, and around you will run, leap, crawl and power your way through more than 25 Xtreme obstacles.
Our obstacles are designed to test physical and mental toughness with challenges that can’t be conquered with strength alone. Mental toughness and the ability to laugh at yourself (and everyone else) are key. Hint: Work on your core strength.
Our course isn’t hidden in the mud because the Xtreme Obstacles can handle all the attention. No lame carrying logs, waiting in line to cross the same old monkey bards or other boring stuff you can do in your own back yard.
This is the experience of a lifetime.
Moving ground, twisting objects and all kids of mechanical mayhem make for a totally awesome, always-wanted-to-try-that, wow-that-is-harder-than-it-looked, freaking cool experience.
Don’t forget about the finisher’s medals, teams, $2,500 competitive purse and costume contest!
There’s never a charge for spectators at Xtreme Obstacle Challenge!

This was a pretty fun course. They tried really hard to think of obstacles that were different which is refreshing amidst all of the mud runs. I'm not a fan of mud, so this race really appealed to me. They clearly stole a page out of Alpha Warrior's book by focusing on the obstacles (I did AW San Diego, and there is nothing like it), and even had their own version of Alpha Warrior's "Sea of Ropes". Though they had a small turnout of participants, the event ran smoothly, and the staff was very friendly. Hopefully they'll keep evolving and begin to develop truly original ideas like Dizzy Lizzy. Overall, nice job. Keep it up!
Unfortunately on one of the more beautiful days We have had in Michigan this Summer this event had only around 200 people. The obstacles were pretty challenging and the Staff were very friendly People. The finisher medal is HUGH!!! and Xtremely Cool. I would definitely recommend this course. I give it 4 stars for the staff and obstacles the only thing I had a problem with was the course was a little hard to navigate. There was not many cones or arrows telling You where to go and it was somewhat confusing. If it was not for the Staff and challenging obstacles I probably would have gave this event a 3 but those two things made up for the course problem. SEE EVERYBODY IN 2014!!!
