Last Saturday saw the return of Grit OCR, an up-and-coming local OCR event here in the greater Los Angeles area brought to life last year by owners Antonio and Malorie Alletto. The inaugural event saw impressive numbers and reviews, and they were looking to build on that success this second time around. And build on it, they did.

In December, 2018, following unsuccessful efforts to find a buyer for TMI, Active – and its ultimate parent company, non-party Global Payments Inc. – gained control over TMI’s operations and management, and in TMI breaching contractual obligations to Livingstone.
Ahead of the 2019 Spartan US National Series launches this weekend in Jacksonville, Spartan is hosting a Media Day on Friday, February 22nd. Spartan will announce it's 2019 Pro Team Members as well as give members of the media a chance to try out some of the new obstacles that racers will encounter this season. This year, the Abominable Snow Race was held on top of a very big rock in Wisconsin known as Devil's Head ski resort. No Zumba class or Runga retreat would have ever prepared the couch dwellers for the snowy vertical madness that was unleashed upon the countless victims this early February.
