Today Clif Bar added a new member to their pro-team marking the first American obstacle racer on their roster of professional outdoor athletes. Rose Wetzel, the Spartan Pro-Team athlete, American Ninja Warrior competitor and all-around athletes joined their roster officially this morning.

Since we last caught up it has been pretty quiet over here in Europe, one of the major events which took place in the UK was the Mudstacle Awards Dinner, held in December. This event had over 300 attendees representing Races, OCR Gear Suppliers, OCR Team and Individual Athletes.

Conquer The Gauntlet Announces New Pro-Team

Today Conquer the Gauntlet announced the formation of both a new Pro-team and Street team. Conquer the Gauntlet is one of the premier obstacle course series in the mid-west. The first two team members, Evan Perperis and Amy “Magic” Pajcic.

2016 Spartan Race World Championships Returns to Lake Tahoe

On the heels of yesterday's announcement of a new competitive wave by Spartan Race. Today, the company announced Squaw Valley in Lake Tahoe is set to host the Reebok Spartan Race World Championship presented by North Lake Tahoe, on October 1, 2016. The 2016 Spartan Race World Championship is one of the many races taking place over the weekend. Athletes of all abilities, from elites to weekend warriors will spend the extended weekend racing and celebrating another successful Spartan Race season.
