2017 Spartan Race World Champion Cody Moat Interview

Cody Moat was named the 2017 Spartan Race World Champion on Saturday. After the race, he took a few moments to talk about winning the race and what it meant to him. Moat won his first Spartan Race World Championship in 2012 in Vermont than a relative unknown in the sport.

Spartan Race Adds Age Groups for 2018 and New World Championship Qualifying Criteria

Spartan Race is changing things up in 2018 adding age groups and updates to World Championship qualifying criteria. This morning Mud Run Guide uncovered information that Spartan Race is branching out in 2018. In addition to the elite heat, Spartan Race is adding age group categories to the competitive heats.

Barbers and Farmers and Spears Oh My!

A few months ago my hay bale got infested with ants.  I had the bale in the trunk of my car along with all my other toys.  The ants had no trouble taking on the Wreck Bag, Sand Bell, log, 5-gallon bucket, and other obstacles.  I got tired of them mocking me as they navigated over, under, through, and around them and my 40-pound weight vest.

2017 Spartan Race World Championship Weekend Ultra Beast

2017 Spartan Race Team World Championship Results

Sunday, October 1 marked the inaugural Spartan Race World Team Championship, with international co-ed teams comprised of three elite racers vying for the title on a demanding 8.5-mile “Super Course.” Team USA (Robert Killian, Alyssa Hawley, and Ryan Woods) emerged victorious, outpacing 26 other tenacious teams to earn first place.

2017 Spartan Race World Championships Results

Spartan Race crowns Cody Moat and Lindsay Webster as the 2017 Spartan Race World Champions after a grueling 16+ mile course. Athletes from over thirty countries battled it out today on the iconic Squaw Valley ski resort outside of Lake Tahoe.
