Reebok All-Terrains: A Tale of Two Shoes

A long time ago at an obstacle course far, far away, I spotted a pair of shoes I’d only seen in pictures.  They almost looked alien in their bright red and yellow coloring.  They were the Reebok All-Terrains, OCR’s introduction to the specialized shoe for the budding sport.

Episode Recap: Spartan Ultimate Team Challenge Season 2 Semi’s and Finale

NBC moved the semi-finals to Sunday night as a two-hour special. However, as many of you know by now, the program turned out to be the news as NBC producers chose to let NASCAR complete the final lap. Hopefully this was no indication of things to come as I finally got to watch the replay on NBC.com.

Race Recap: Rugged Maniac New Jersey 2017

I stayed a little closer to home and ran Rugged Maniac. And I’m glad I did. OCR 101: Should I Duct Tape My Shoes at a Mud Run or Obstacle Race?

Since the beginning of obstacle racing and mud runs people have flocked to the duct tape sections of their local home improvement shop prior to their first event. Somewhere along the way, someone came up with the idea that Duct Tape would be a good tool to helping keep shoes on during a mud run. While most seasoned obstacle racers and mud runners know this will not help keep shoes on many newbies still show up on the day of the event with duct tape on their shoes.
