OCR World Championships Photos – Available Race Day From Pic2Go

OCR World Championships has another surprise for all athletes competing this weekend. OCR World Championship is utilizing a new technology called Pic2Go in partnership with CHOSEN Technologies. This new technology will allow athletes to get photos of themselves racing and be able to share online the day they race. Each night photography team at OCR World Championships will load all images through Pic2Go which will automatically tag and share the images to your own personalized photo album on your Facebook page.

Athlete Tracking at OCR World Championships from Mud Run Guide/J-Chip

Mud Run Guide and J-Chip have been working together to help create the best athlete experience for those competing at the OCR World Championships on Saturday. Athletes will be able to share personalized tracking information to let friends and family follow along with all the action from home. Live tracking on Mud Run Guide will allow those following the race to not only see the start and finish but also splits along the course.

2016 OCRWC 3K Short Course Women to Watch

Friday kicks off the 2016 OCR World Championships in Blue Mountain, Canada with the first day of racing on the 3-kilometer short course. The short course is the newest addition. The course will be a test of speed and obstacle proficiency as racers will tackle some of the most challenging obstacles from the World Championship course. With the short distance and the obstacle density predicting who will prevail on top of the podium is a bit unknown. Mud Run Guide picked out a few athletes to look for in the Pro Division on Friday.

We are OCR – VanCity OCR

VanCity OCR is the brainchild of the husband and wife team, John and Allison Tai. The VanCity OCR group is local to Vancouver, B.C. Canada but its members are from all areas of the lower mainland, so it is not super restricted or inclusive, all are welcome. Not only do John and Allison race themselves, but they coach, train, motivate and inspire through their Spartan SGX workouts and other training. They are never too busy to answer a quick question or calm a fear you might have about a race or other challenge you want to tackle.

Race Recap: Spartan Race Beast Windsor

This weekend we did a double race weekend. Saturday the RAM run and Sunday the Spartan Race Beast Windsor. This was going to be my first ever Spartan Trifecta, so I was really excited! My knee got a bit worse overnight, but I felt up to it! We were on a tight schedule, having to return the car at 7 and fly home at 8, so we were happy to be able to start just before noon. At the starting area, we met up with two RAM friends volunteering there.

Faces at the Races — Heathyr Stanics

I began my fitness journey in August of 2013 by going to the gym by myself, walking the treadmill, or slowly easing along on the elliptical. I decided to set a goal to give myself something to look forward to. I signed up for a colorful 5k and also started dabbling in yoga because I was so fascinated with inversions. I am now 4 sizes and 60 pounds down from when I began, and I continue to train and work on my physical fitness.
