Course Description:

The Merrell Down & Dirty Obstacle Race presented by Subaru is an obstacle-climbing, trail-blasting race that will push you to your limits. Two courses, 20+ obstacles, one true challenge.

5K Course Description
Mile 1 - Runners will begin on a short stretch of pavement with a gradual hill for warm-up. After turning right and running over the high grass ridgeline, athletes will pick up the main park fire road and begin the wide, up and down hills.
Mile 2 - After a ¼ mile, the 5k runners will make a u-turn after the obstacles and return back via the fire road. They will then make a detour into the Cedar Hills woods and enjoy some alternate terrain. 10k runners will trek on through the winding hills of Cedar Hill Start Park.
Mile 3 - 10k runners will run next to the open grasslands while they make a 1 mile loop around the halfway point. Staying on course will be no problem with the wide cut trails and the tall prairie grass on either side. 5k runners will have hit the last mile and the home stretch. Here you will run through the picnic areas, water crossings and final obstacles before you reach the Finish Line!
