Race Start Time:
After buying your entries you choose your wave start time. Current availability is: 9:00am, 9:15am, 9:30am, 9:45am, 10:00am. Please arrive 1 hour before your start time.
The 9am wave of the 3 mile and 5+ mile courses is a competitive wave. The fastest three men and women in each distance will receive a free entry to another terrain Mud Run.
The Endurance distance is two laps on the 5+ mile course and all athletes must start at 9am. The fastest three men and women in the Endurance wave will be eligible for prizes.

Course Description:
The cool pine forests surrounding Flagstaff make the perfect spot for a mud run! Join us for summer Arizona temperatures in the 70s and race in Monsoon season with tons of mud!
Kids 3 mile race - For ages 9-15. Ages 9-13 must race with a parent. This course follows the regular 3 mile course.
3 mile race - Best for first timers and athletes that want to have a great time. If you can jog 3 miles and do a couple pushups and sit ups, you can do our 3 mile course! You'll be ready to slosh in the mud, jump over 6 foot high walls, 12 foot high rope walls, and 16 foot high cargo nets.
5+ mile race - If the short course sounds too easy, get ready for a tougher course with 5-7 miles and over 20 obstacles to really challenge you. This is for athletes that want a tougher course and more obstacles.
Endurance race - Two laps on our longer course. For athletes that like to run and do over 20 obstacles, twice. Cash prizes and gear prizes for top winners. You must do the 9am wave if you choose this race.
Aid Stations:
There are aid stations every 1-2 miles with water. There are people at each obstacles with radio contact to paramedics. At the finish line you'll receive water and bananas, and samples from our vendors.
The aid stations will have water only. If you prefer electrolyte fluids, gels, etc., please plan to carry your own supplies.
Spectators:
Free! We create a finish area that includes many exciting obstacles for spectators to watch their family and friends on.
There is no charge for spectators at our Flagstaff events and we encourage you to get a cold beverage, grab a bite to eat and hang out on the large grass field!
Parking:
Parking is free
Post Party:
There is music, food and beer. Rawhide will have burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, soda, and beer for purchase and a full bar open. Cash and credit accepted.
Other:
This is a race and all athletes will be timed! Your time will be slower than a 5k or 10k race, but it's always nice to see how you rank compared to fellow athletes.
We use chip timing so you can see how fast you really are and we provide you with a free printable finisher certificate online after the race.
terrain Flagstaff Mud Run is a charity event and proceeds support several local organizations. We donate to their causes and you can above when you buy an entry. Your donation will be made to the organization you choose which usually makes you eligible for a tax write-off! All donations are 100% non-refundable.
Team:
It's fine to race solo, but more fun as a team!
Buy 5 entries now so you and your teammates can save and you don't have to decide who's racing until race day.
After checking out you can choose a team name. We give you a team code to share with friends and anyone can join your team later. Make sure to have 5 teammates added the day before the race and each teammate will get a gift certificate on race day. There's no limit to how many teammates you have, we even have an award for the largest team!
