True Grit obstacle races, mud run, and OCR information, distance, cost, dates, calendar, discounts, obstacles, reviews, and more

True Grit is the first Australian designed military style obstacle course

The obstacle course has been designed to test your mental resolve and stamina, with an emphasis on tackling obstacles, not running a marathon. Our courses are designed over 10-12km with over 30 obstacles per event.

We design our layouts based on our military experience, by utilising unique obstacles tailored around the vegetation and terrain of the land. Our aim is to deliver a truly unique experience to those that dare.

disappointed and disgusted

Aug 21, 2016 by Adam Hemmling

Volunteered 4 times now and run twice and disgusted at how they treat volunteers i have missed out on running this event with my friends even after it was pre arranged and approved by them near a month in advance and the last time i ran they shut the course down completely before we finished and we got no drink stations food or even course managers or saftey left on course by the end the finish line and the village was shut down and we had a volunteer dislocate there shoulder with no medical team to even help he drove him self to a gold coast hospital! This time we even volunteered the day before and still did not get to run on the sunday so we volunteered sat and sunday for nothing . Thats two bad events 4 days total and lots of safety issues and a complete disregard for volunteers and there saftey coupled with lying to get what they want with out for filling basic agreed upon terms of why we volunteer. We there was two of us even showed up and where ready for work at six there staff were not even all up or working yet! so we were really keen to help and work and did just that and got the shaft for it.
