Book Review: Cruise the Course Volume 1

Sarah Pozdol is the author of the new obstacle course race training book Cruise the Course, Volume 1. The experienced trainer, obstacle course racing athlete, and all around fitness expert has years of experience in the obstacle racing space in a variety of capacities. Including she worked with Spartan Race for a while under the SGX program traveling around the country seeing the athletes on course.

2018 Conquer The Gauntlet Pro Team

Conquer The Gauntlet (CTG) will have a Pro Team for the third year in a row in 2018, after a strong 2017 season.  Despite the series having a reduced racing schedule due growing families from the owners (read about it here, Family First at Conquer The Gauntlet), the Pro Team will still be racing year round, coast to coast and occasionally overseas.

Race Recap: San Diego Epic Race Series

I'll admit it: I had heard from a friend that Epic Series was an easy beginner race, so I was prepared to deal with an unorganized chaotic mess, as often times the new or beginner race companies are still learning the tricks of the trade. But as I embarked on my very first Epic Series Race this past Saturday, I was pleased to see that I was wrong. Epic Race was truly EPIC in deliverance.

Core Strength and OCR

Tough Mudder X to be Featured on CBS this Summer

Tough Mudder introduced Tough Mudder X in 2017. The one-mile event showcased some of the best Tough Mudder obstacles while mixing in grueling functional fitness tasks. The fast-paced race was an instant success among both spectators and participants showcased on CBS. Tough Mudder Introduces New Obstacles in 2018 Including – Happy Ending

Tough Mudder continues to be a leader in obstacle innovation with the release of several new obstacles in advance of the 2018 season. Starting in 2018, instead of electroshock therapy at the end of a race, participants will be up against "Happy Ending". Tough Mudder also continues to innovate Kong for 2018. With races offered on five continents in 2018, many participants will able to have their own Happy Ending to finish out the course.
