The Future of OCR: Rise of the KidFests?

With the demise of female-only races (Diva Dash, Mudderella, Lozilu, etc.) the limited investment in kids-only mud runs and most of the big events adding a kid's course as an afterthought, the long-term future of OCR seems to be taking a backseat to present profits. Aren't there new ways to reach kids now and start developing the next generation of OCR fanatics?

Race Recap: Acre Breaker Adventure Race 2017 Spooky Nook Sports Manheim, PA

Make sure you check out the Acre Breaker Adventure Race in Manheim PA. The Acre Breaker race provides a great experience in a smaller loop course to give the racer and the race viewers a really fun experience.   The course is on about an acre or so of land, but a number of obstacles and the running trail that is the course were a great surprise as I moved through the terrain.

Facility Review: Obstacle Athletics Games 2017

Obstacle Athletics is Long Island’s only Obstacle Fitness and Ninja Warrior training facility. The "playground" opened up its doors earlier this year and has already welcomed several OCR and Americas Ninja Warrior pros. This facility also offers Private Classes, Open Gym, and Groups/Parties.
