Inc. Magazine, a top business magazine, puts out an annual ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in America. For the second year in a row Savage Race, a premier obstacle race series found itself on the Inc. Magazine list with over 411% growth in the last three years.
After an obstacle race comes through your town it can often be weeks, months, or even a year in some locations before a race comes back to a neighborhood. In between those times, you can get your fix of the OCR world through television shows but when those seasons are over there is another way to keep the OCR fire alive within you, podcasts. Over the years more and more obstacle racing podcasts and those closely related to the industry have popped up.
BROCR Media the producers of the BROCR Review web series have partnered with the charity For Those Who Would. The partnership is a synergy of the two companies both built from the mutual love of all things obstacle course racing. Effective immediately BROCR Review will donate all their revenue from product endorsements to For Those Who Would charity.
Our bud Evan "Rocket" Dollard is back with a new episode of Spartan Strong, this time he takes to the El Moro Trails in CA to run some good old fashioned hill sprints, chase a bunny, and work on his pistol squats.

The dryrobe, which you may have seen as a sponsor on BattleFrog College Championships, at OCR World Championships or at the uphill swim based OCR Neptune Steps, has made a big splash in the OCR world and for a good reason.
Our weekend event was no exception with extreme humidex alerts and no cloud coverage to start the day. The race was held at the Smiths Falls Memorial Centre in Smiths Falls, Ontario. This location provided ample free parking and is centrally located with multiple access routes from Kingston and Ottawa.
If we were to pick two words to sum up this last week in OCR, I would have to say it was "Spartan" and "Beard". One crushing it with nationwide domination and growth, and the other...for its lack thereof. (RIP chin curtain)
As HESCO BONEFROG makes its debut in Cedartown, GA at Highland Park Resort on August 27th, they bring world-renowned announcer Dustin Dorough to EMCEE the event. Dustin brings a wealth of announcement experience to the OCR arena and is best known for his role as announcer for Spartan Race.
Evan takes to the steps of Culver City with Darrell Michnowicz of Raw Calisthenics. Expect plenty of body weight exercises, plenty of stairs, and a total lack of shirts.
