The Country’s Best Endurance Athletes Set the Bar for 2019 Spartan U.S. National Series During Season Opener in Jacksonville, FL
For the last several years Tough Mudder, Inc. has been in continuous financial distress, despite Active’s extension of approximately $18 million of credit to TMI in 2017 and 2018. In December, 2018, following unsuccessful efforts to find a buyer for TMI, Active – and its ultimate parent company, non-party Global Payments Inc. – gained control over TMI’s operations and management, and in TMI breaching contractual obligations to Livingstone.
Ahead of the 2019 Spartan US National Series launches this weekend in Jacksonville, Spartan is hosting a Media Day on Friday, February 22nd. Spartan will announce it's 2019 Pro Team Members as well as give members of the media a chance to try out some of the new obstacles that racers will encounter this season.
