Warrior Dash recently inked a multi-year deal with an apparel company Grunt Style. Starting in 2018 finisher t-shirts will be co-branded as Warrior Dash and Grunt Style. The American apparel company showcases the best in America with bold statement t-shirts, supporting pride in self, pride in military, and pride in country.
It’s another year of obstacle racing, the same races are on the market with either the same obstacles or same venues that we have seen every year. I came across this new race company by word of mouth, I read their website description, I found it very interesting but a little confusing.

As we begin the new year and a new race season, let's take a moment to look at the risk factors for burnout and develop a plan of action in the event you experience any of these symptoms.
The Ultra Beast was first introduced by Spartan Race in 2012 at Killington, Vermont. Instead of just one lap on the famed beast course, competitors completed two laps in one day. The Ultra Beast has become a defining option in obstacle racing for the endurance enthusiast. In 2018, the Spartan Race Ultra Beast has been rebranded as simply the Spartan Race Ultra. This new designation places the Spartan Race Ultra in its own category, giving the race its own identity.

In a ceremony a few weeks ago at Cedar Lake Cellars Winery outside of St. Louis, The Battlegrounds Mud Run married Tough Mudder. This “tying of the knot” subsequently created what is one of the unique Tough Mudder venues for their Missouri event while, at the same time, putting an end to the largest single-site obstacle race in the Midwest.
As my OCR friend James Grbac said, the muscle up is the holy grail of moves. I’ve been going for it since last year. There are lots of YouTubes on how to do it. I’ve tried everything. My definition of success looks like this: starting from a dead hang, complete a full muscle up in one fluid motion without a kip. I want the hardest one. Then I will know I can do the easier ones. In fact, I can already do a six-foot wall or bar muscle up just by jumping a bit.

You don't get a nickname like The Great White North when you live in a tropical paradise. But we Canadians aren't the only ones who have to live with frigid winter temperatures. Much of the USA can be subject to the same brutal cold which makes training during these winter months unpleasant and inconveniencing.
