Race Recap: BattleFrog – Central Florida – March 14, 2015
This was my second trip to Florida to race at a BattleFrog event in less than a month. I was again running the Xtreme version of the BattleFrog Central Florida event.

BattleFrog Series Makes Changes in Format to All Future Events
In the past few days rumors have made their way across the OCR World regarding the BattleFrog Race Series. This afternoon we received an email with updates to the races for the rest of the season as well as some format changes. Some of the changes include, Saturday only heats, a new 8K course format, and changes to the elite competition.

Last Week in OCR: From Sea to Shining Sea
The obstacle racing season continued to pick up the pace over the weekend with races in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans and everywhere in between. Spartan Race Hawaii kicked off their season with a stadium race, the first Bermuda Triple Challenge took place, as well as Atlas Race and BattleFrog in Texas and Florida. In addition to these races the soon to be aired ESPN Collegiate Special with BattleFrog was filmed this past weekend in Florida. Below are the scores and highlights from the weekend.

Race Recap: Spartan Sprint Georgia

The Georgia 2015 Spartan Sprint was once again at the beautiful International Horse Park in Conyers. After an unimpressive experience at this event in 2014 I left me promising myself that I wouldn’t be signing up for another one of their events. I was thoroughly convinced that wild horses couldn’t get me to sign up for this year’s Survivor Mud Run, and that’s when it happened. I was bit by the OCR bug.
