Adam Kimble Run Across USA: Day 33 – 43

Adam still progressed by getting in 29 miles from 5 am to 8:30 pm. He was experiencing a lot of pain in his right shin and right hip. He’s amazing to persevere through all of the pain. Progress is progress! One of the best parts of the day was having two puppies follow Adam for 3 miles and keep him company. The crew would have loved to keep the pups as our trans-con mascots, but we reunited the puppies with their family. Onto Day 44 in Louisiana!

At BattleFrog, ‘BF’ Now Means “Beginner Friendly”

BattleFrog Series is nothing if not ambitious; scaling an event from 3-6 events is a big deal, and moving into a new state is fraught with difficulty on levels of magnitude to putting on an event in your home market - ask any race company in (or out) of business now. What BFS did is beyond definition, and beyond reckless for any other event to even attempt. The sport is littered with the carcasses of races that tried, yet this is not a homage to their failures, it's a nod to the audacity of BattleFrog's ownership and executive management; they have a plan of action that would make any CPA tremble.

Last Week in OCR: Eggstra-special OCRs With Family

With the Easter holiday we always tend to see 5k bunny runs and egg hunts replacing grueling obstacle challenges, and quite frankly, too many of our families, it is a nice change of pace. Medals are replaced by colored plastic eggs, bananas, and nutrition bars are replaced by chocolate eggs, and the war cries of our comrades-in-arms are replaced by the happy squeals of the little ones in our lives.

OCR’S MOST COLORFUL CHARACTERS – Tod Sorum Brilliant

In our new MUD RUN GUIDE series, we will seek to highlight some of these people, who keep us quite often thinking, frequently smiling, and always on our toes. I decided to keep the questions simple as these folks do not need a fancy canvas to paint a colorful picture. Bottom line, without them – OCR would not be OCR.
