On October 10th, 2015, The Dead End Race will present a brand new event like none other... The Dead End Race Stadium Edition at the TD Place in Ottawa! For the first time in Canada, obstacle racers will be able to participate in a race that takes place 100% in a stadium. 25 obstacles will be positioned throughout the stadium, directly on the turf and in the upper levels.
Have you tried Roll Recovery yet? If not you should...as for us , we hate lying on the floor trying to use a foam roller when we are beat up from a race, sometimes it makes it worse! We tend to cramp up here & there after intense races and really feel it at the end. R8 helps out for that, it gives you that "feel good but it hurts" deep pressure massage.

All played vital roles in the 2015 SISU Iron: a world-class 30h endurance challenge in the hills of Monrovia, CA.
This was one of the OCR’s I was not going to miss; Lynn Hall and her amazing team create both an amazing course and event every time they step up to the plate and I had very high expectations for this event The morning started out on the cold side and I was worried early on it may not warm up all day. It was funny to see so many racers at registration wearing long pants and a jacket when they would be racing shortly. Mother Nature was awesome and the day ended up being perfect weather.
Tough Mudder is celebrating their 5th Birthday right now and they threw a Birthday Party that couldn’t be beat in Atlanta last weekend. Mudder Legionaires sporting multi-colored 10x and up headbands have crowed that this was the best TM they have ever done. There were so many people absolutely ecstatic after this race you would have thought that there was free beer and beef jerky at the end. Oh yeah, there was.
Bridging Abilities Obstacle Challenge is being put on to raise money for a great charity and all proceeds from the event will directly support the children with disabilities who take part in The Bridge Center's year-round recreational programs. I am a huge fans of events put on to help charities, so I reached out to Bridging Abilities Obstacle Challenge Race Director Amy Reichenbach for an interview.
"A win is always exciting, but nothing can compare to back to back wins with my family cheering me on for Mother's Day!" Jackie Rust double winner at Spartan Race Texas. It was a weekend of Spartan this last week with five different races in three locations.
High Rock Challenge in it's third year offered a solo version of the course this year. They are the state of New York’s oldest obstacle course race and have been putting the team event on for thirteen years. This also is another great event put on In memory of NYC Police Officer John Kelly who was killed in the line of duty, so being retired law enforcement, I was honored and excited to be running in this race.
This past weekend I headed to compete in the Warrior Dash in Lexington, MO at The Big River Ranch. I was eager to see how this venue was going to create the most bad-ass day possible for its competitors.
This was definitely a changing event with mental challenges and obstacles mixed together. This combination was a change of pace. Grit 'N Wit tested me in more ways than one.
