Race Recap: Spartan Super Michigan

On September 22, 2018, I ran the Spartan Super at the Michigan International Speedway. This was the second year that Spartan held an event at this venue and the weekend consisted of a Super, Sprint, and Kids Race. (I’ll focus on the Super specifically for my review).

Spartan Announces Changes for 2019

On Friday afternoon, Spartan put up an interesting video on Facebook. Joe De Sena announced while carrying a kettlebell that in 2019 one thousand more season passes have been added to the inventory and gladiators are coming back for select events.

Race Recap: Spartan Killington Beast

A gorgeous weekend welcomed Spartans to Killington; the location where it all began.  Huge crowds were on hand for the Ultra, Beast and Sprint weekend.  Parking seemed to move smoothly and allowed athlete a chance to stretch out their legs with a 15-minute walk to the festival area.

The first of the major obstacle racing championships was last weekend outside Lake Tahoe in Squaw Valley. Gear Review: OOFOS OOmg Shoes

I usually like to build up some anticipation regarding the product I’m reviewing, but I’ll cut to the bottom line up front for this one. OOFOS new shoes, the OOmg Shoes, are super comfortable, if you are a serious athlete and don’t own a pair you need to stop living in the past.

2018 Spartan World Championships – Lake Tahoe, CA

For the fourth year in a row, the Spartan World Championships were held in beautiful North Lake Tahoe, CA, specifically Squaw Valley Ski Resort. This was my second time here (last year being my first), and, in my opinion, it did not disappoint.
